Her personality is very outspoken and blunt. If she hears someone say something she doesn’t like she will be quick to correct them. Jotaro tends to be the victim of these attacks most often because Kaori dislikes how he treats women.

Kaori’s stand first manifested when she was around seven as a result of her neglectful parents. It wasn’t that they didn’t love her, far from it, they just often lost track of time while working. Her stand; blue moon, allowed Kaori to create illusions, and she would use this to play games or make stories come to life in order to entertain herself. for the most part it worked, but she still wanted the attention of her parents. As she grew older her instances of delinquency increased, reaching a peak when she got arrested at 14 for petty theft. Her parents finally started to take notice, but it was far too late, Kaori’s resentment was already too much for them to handle.

When Kaori turned 16(a year before SDC takes place) her parents decided to move, and due to the she ended up transferring to the school Jotaro attended, though she never mingled with the student, choosing to avoid him instead. A little bit before the time stardust crusaders starts she is sent to Singapore to visit her grandparents on her mother’s side. you can probably guess where its going from here lol. Kaori runs into the traveling group of Jotaro and co. when Polnereff gets attacked by that weird doll mf. I haven’t quite decided the specifics yet but heres what i have so far; she was napping in her hotel room, which just so happened to be the one below polnereff’s , because of this she gets pissed off at how much noise he was making and goes to check up on her upstairs neighbor. she sees the stand attacking him and helps him out. Eventually Joseph and all of them figure out shes a stand user and drag her along with them for the rest of the trip.

Kaori decided to join the group because she sympathized with how Joseph explained the situation to her, since she was in the room below Polnareff and stumbled upon the fight between him and the other stand user. 

While Kaori gets close to the other members of the group, she connects better Jotaro and Noriaki. The rest are all like parental figures to her. She was absolutely devastated after what happened with Noriaki and Avdol after they defeat Dio, and Jotaro was the only person left to comfort her, since Joseph was working through his own physical issues.

Common attributes/symbols: she often keeps a light blue pocket knife with her everywhere, which she fidgets with when shes bored

Common activities/hobbies: arguing with Jotaro, poorly drawing in the sand, fighting other stand users

Setting: Kaori joined the stardust crusaders when they arrived in Singapore, and since then has been their go-to distractor with her stands abilities.

Kujo Jotaro (close friend/romantic interest) - shes shorter than him but is a few months older than him and she holds that over his damn head. They often engage in not so friendly banter when jotaro makes his usual sexist comments :,)

Kakyoin Noriaki (close friend) - Kaori tends to idly chit-chat with Noriyaki because hes a lot more level headed than jotaro, and they have a lot in common.
