Anja Syringa is a genius, a one-in-a-billion talent that was set to dominate the wizard scene. But more interested in progress than fame, she shut herself away in pursuit of experimentation; to test the limits of how far magical invention could go. By extracting her own DNA and maNA, she was able to create an artificial wizard with an incredible amount of magic energy. That creation wound up being both her proudest and most disappointing achievement. Although she did her utmost to cram every subject imaginable into his young mind, AX-01 later rebelled with just as much intensity. Perhaps even more. When he reached 20 and finally demanded independence, Anja challenged him to a duel; one that she, who had gone years without practicing combat magic, unfortunately, lost. She'd since given up on her dream of perfection and rather sought efficiency through the making of nonsentient lifeforms that could automate processes. But due to an unforeseen drunken accident, she found herself saddled with another bundle of... joy.... Her child-rearing days are far from over!

Axon- When Anja Syringa was 23, she had already achieved her life's goal; to create artificial life through magic and produce an extraordinarily powerful wizard. For the next 20 years, she analyzed, studied, and raised AX-01 as the perfect being. But he had other plans. Since gaining his independence by beating his mother in a magic duel, the relationship between the two has been... rough to say the least. He still drops in occasionally to see his younger brother, and she'll occasionally observe him with her all-seeing eye to criticize his potion-making. 

Beck - By the time Beck was accidentally created, Anja had already given up on creating the ultimate wizard. She had moved her goals elsewhere, and yet now she had another child to raise. The energy she put into raising Axon had all but evaporated, and so her parenting style for Beck bordered on neglectful. She makes sure his needs are met w the legion of artificial beings she has at her disposal, but for the most part she leaves him to be the cringy 8-year-old he aspires to be.

Catina - Down on her luck, Anja met Catina while stocking up on supplies in some remote Russian village. Catina had been there doing a photoshoot and was captivated by the sight of such a powerful magic user shuffling around town in a lab coat and slippers. Catia willingly offered herself up as a research subject, and a few glasses of wine later the two women became friends. A few meetings and half-drunken flings later, alcohol was banned from Anja's lab and little Beck was born. Catina now has to invite herself over, which for her isn't much of a deterrent.
