She was granted "circumstantial immortality" as well as minor power over electrictiy when her mother was struck by lightning while giving birth to her on top of a volcano. Her aging slowed after reaching age 10, aging 1 year for every 10 that pass, and cannot die under most circumstances (think Wolverine). When she laughs, it creates static energy; her hair starts to float and crackles/pops can be heard. She can light lightbulbs/ connect chargers/ etc. in her mouth for a short time. Sometimes her strong emotions can cause localized blackouts/ power surges
Now, after living in AIR for multiple decades, she's still well below her years in maturity and is still feeling out what she wants to do in the world.
