The bug in the system - Byte may not look it, but he's actually a grade-A hacker + computer whiz who delightes in pulling juvenile pranks just for fits and giggles. Get into someone's computer and change their language settings to something they don't speak? Yup. Fill their harddrive with 1,000,001 recipes for tuna casserole? Check. He even hacked the highway department once and changed one of those digital road signs to say something mildly rude. Good luck getting him to do any of this during the day though- Byte has a funky sleep schedudle and is practically nocturnal.
