Salem was a really stuck up hivewing who fell into deep debt from losing a racing bet. This led her to make a deal with a shady animus who promised her endless riches in return for her soul
as stupid as it sounds she was sold, her irrational decision quickly souring as her ears were replaces by feathered wings. later on she was binded to a tropical, perfect island, but had nobody except the animus
her old name was Honeywasp, but the animus only referred to her as Salem
