Blackstar

The cowardly leader, Blackstar lost seven lives in battle with Thriftstar, but she returned the favor evenly. The black she-cat never wanted to lead as she believes that she-cats shouldn't lead due to their instincts, but her brother ruined that when he died in battle. Their father had decided that he only wanted his bloodline to lead Morningclan, which left Blackstar with no choice but to be named deputy and later leader.

She knew it was up to her to continue the bloodline since her brother was only interested in toms, much to their father's disgust. Asphodelstream had good leadership qualities, so she decided to mate with him once for a single litter, which turned into three times until she was finally pregnant with Nightstone. Shortly after Nightstone became an apprentice, her brother died and she was named deputy. She didn't want Nightstone to take over the clan, so she appointed Plumnose as her deputy.
