Orion's Links
The deeper oceans follow every waking step you take away from them, whispering garbled nonsense into your ears; it is both a curse and a comfort. Home is miles away—miles below—yearning for you to return. Some days, you are tempted, the others...
You make the constellation of your namesake on his chest with your teeth, along his collarbone. You hear his sighs and gasps in the glow of neon that surrounds you. You think of his eyes like precious pearls luring a traveler towards the depths. You think of him, all of him—and you cannot bare to leave. If the abyss must call you, you would sooner suffocate above it, with him, than to thrive within it, away.
Named after stars but reminiscent of the sea; the archer's arrows have found their way well through your chest. He reminds you of everything you ever loved about the ocean: its stalwart waves, its knowing presence, the ebb and flow. You're attracted to him like how the moon pulls the tides, slipping forward into his arms - his chest. You're greedy for him. You wouldn't mind drowning in these depths; so long as you can call him yours.
