Chaffinchshadow - Male He/Him - Elder (retired warrior)
Oriental shorthair (or maybe a javanese mix??) with yellow eyes.
Design is symmetrical other than scars. Big ears, wedge muzzle, noticable age lines on his face.
He has a surprisingly thick furred and fluffy tail for his breed.
His right hind leg is scarred and he has a distinct limp.
Chaffinchshadow is a retired Riverclan warrior. He was forced to retire after an incident that led to his leg being crushed. While he can still walk its painful to go 'long' distances, disallowing patrols, and it seizes up when swimming, making him a poor hunter and swimmer.
Due to forced retirement he is younger than most of the elders and has a lot more energy. He busies himself around the camp instead, helping the den builders and entertaining kits when the queens & kings need a break. Despite hsi younger age Chaffinchshadow is chronically worse about rambling stories than his denmates, and it can be hard to make him quite down.
Chaffinchshadow has (had?) a mate with his own rough past. He had had a kit come in from outside the clan (either by a sibling that left, or a mate that dumped it on him), but the child was grown (late apprentice or older) before he became mates with their father/uncle. His mate was disrespected after that and struggled to regain their confidence, but Chaffinchshadow supported them always.
