Created through experiments devised by the brothers of the Kanto Kingdom, Sotolis was supposed to be a crowning achievement, a wondrous work of science and a powerful tool against the shadowy plague that had befallen the lands. While some agree with this sentiment, others view Sotolis and his sister project Arkus as blasphemous, or even precursors to something worse on its way. Though Sotolis could say he has at least been spared the cruelty of being created in the image of a god, he and his unnatural form is still shunned by many, even when wrapped clothes that mimic his royal creators.

What small celebrations of his creation exist are held close to his heart. Sotolis knows and is very aware of his purpose, but does all he can do rise above expectation. His voice is kind, and his conversations worthwhile, even when his presence tends to be intimidating. A fair listener, but perhaps a bit too smart for his own good.

When combat arises, Sotolis fights with an eerie sense of calm, thoughtful in both his attack and defense. Such a serious energy causes him to come across and cold and calculating, decimating attackers while hardly batting an eye or moving a muscle. He proudly wields elemental tactics taught and gifted to him by the brothers of Kanto.
