Sawyer hails from a country where it is winter almost year-round. His parents were killed in the midst of a war, leading him to develop a crippling fear of knights, as well as a disregard for the land's rulers. Soon after this occurred, Sawyer adopted a new persona and fled far away, starting a new life for himself on the streets. Being homeless, Sawyer tends to sneak into buildings for shelter, and often steals to eat. Luckily, as a raccoon, Sawyer is small and agile, so he has yet to face serious consequence for his actions. Additionally, Sawyer is literate, so he is able to make a small income for himself by transcribing and delivering letters for locals. He carries a small knife on him at all times.
