A mutant who stands for her own morals above anything else, Bella grew up surrounded by other vigilantes with powers, not aware of her own X-Gene that would later be activated. Either teaming up with the X-Men or standing against them, she uses her plant-based powers for what she believes in, willing to put up a fight if necessary.
Bella is passionate, one to follow what her heart tells her to with an unrelenting ambition. This has led to her becoming stronger as an individual, however sometimes her hubris also causes her to underestimate others. She also loves being surrounded by people she loves, and is never one to turn down a night out.

Trivia
Bella is able to manipulate plant matter, turning them either into hardened tools/weapons, physical hazards, or merge them with animals to turn them into plant-merged minions. She can also absorb energy from the sun, using it to both heal as well as enhance her physical condition.
- Bella has an apartment back in London, full of various plants she takes care of.
- Her "braids" are vines connected to her head, which can grow into different plants for different styles.

Backstory
Born and raised in London, Bella grew up the daughter of a single biologist mother who often studied in Krakoa - specifically the plant forms found on the island. Bella often spent time there, surrounded by mutants and wondering what it would be like to become one of them. Coaxed by Mister Sinister as a young girl, he took her and experimented on her genetics, finding a latent X-Gene that was yet to be activated as she grew older. He accelerated it, activating it prematurely, and it bound her body to samples of vegetation in his lab - mixing her mutant genes with that of plants and giving her current abilities.
Now Mutant
After managing to escape the scientist, Bella was taken in by Xavier's institute, maturing both personally and physically. She learned her limits and abilities - however, she also realized how she didn't agree with the way some of the X-Men handled criminals, brutalizing them or refusing to consider their sides of the story. It wasn't long before she bowed out, instead operating as her own source of justice.
She was met with some resistance, however did grow approval from both heroes and villains alike. She began to enact her own morals - taking down people she believed were pure evil, and willing to reason or even help some she thought could use it. She has met criticism and even resistance from some other mutants/heroes, though she sticks to what she stands for, and is willing to fight.
Relationships
Given that both have followed their own paths regarding mutant teams, Bella and Emma get along well, although the latter is often too busy for Bella to get to really know as of yet. Bella looks up to her, greatly admiring the sort of empire Emma has built for herself.
The one who interfered with Bella's powers and subjected her to torment at a young age, Bella has a strong hatred for Mister Sinister, vowing to be the one that will finally destroy him. Although his abilities make killing him near impossible, whenever she encounters him, she makes sure to inflict unimaginable pain onto him.
