Profile

Aidoneus was once what you would call an ether entity: a mass of ether whose primary goal was to explore the cosmos and learn all there was to know. During its adventures, it met another ether entity that went by Persei (or Kore; she had two names), and the two traveled for a long time together. An ether entity’s main purpose is to give life to a planet, and so when they stumbled across an abandoned planet, Kore left Aidoneus to give life to it. That planet became Earth, and now on its own, Aidoneus would go on to find a planet of its own: Mira.

Aidoneus would give life to Mira, creating humanoids similar to Persei’s ideal form. After a lifetime of loneliness, humans crash-landed on Mira after Earth was destroyed. Mira, now going by humanity’s name for the planet, was greatly saddened by Kore’s death but vowed to protect and nurture humanity. It even created an avatar - two, down the road - so that it could guide humanity in the right direction towards living happily. If only humans were kind to it in return…

Mira is extremely sassy and dramatic, using its dry sense of humor to tease and voice its rather crude opinions. It’s not the easiest entity to befriend due to its cold nature, and it’s immediately suspicious of most humans (thanks, mining probes). However, it exhibits many parental-like tendencies with its two avatars, Pongo and Nessa, and will go to any lengths to make sure they’re safe and happy. Beyond its endless layers of sarcasm, there is an unparalleled wisdom and desire to explore the far reaches of the universe. And deeper yet, Mira loves its family and those it considers its friends. Though it can project an ideal form, it prefers to inhabit Pongo or Nessa whenever possible and hasn’t really thought about getting its own body. It also fears taking complete control over any mortal beings due to the consequences and will absolutely not become violent unless the circumstances are dire. But perhaps one day, it will have a body to call its own…
