Marhyali is a gorgeous Dewwing that lives on the outskirts of the Inflorescence. Despite their beauty, they prefer to stay out of the spotlight.
They spend their days running a tea bar, an adult-centered space that is still gentle and remains calm. Rumors say that Marhyali uses their sleepbreath in small doeses constantly to ensure any customers are too tired to cause a ruckus.
Marhyali will tell you any day that they love their job, and despite any offers from other dragons, they prefer to live their life this way.

Marhyali is often kind to others, offering their tea bar as a place for others to relax. Not a day goes by where they aren't constantly helping others. This can often include being stern however, as occasionally they must step in for conflicts between two or more parties.
ideology
To them, connection between dragons is the most important thing. Their favorite parts of their bartending job is watching others get along, and it continues to be their biggest value.
Marhyali also strongly believes in humility. They aren't quite a fan of dragons with high egos, especially if in their eyes the dragon isn't so special.

Due to working with food and beverages, Marhyali can be a bit of a neat freak. They're terrified of spoiled food and would probably faint at the sight of mold. They aren't quite as afraid of certain pests such as mice or spiders; but hates ants, roaches, and flies with a passion.
Childhood
Marhyali grew up in a family closer to the center of the Inflorescence. They were rather well off, their parents being accomplished with their work and thus having accumulated a good amount of wealth. They had an older sister, Nisyxari, who they loved dearly.
They were meant to be a continuation of the family, particularly to pick up business where their parents would leave it off after retiring. They spent much of their childhood helping out in their parents' work, mainly to learn the ropes as they wouldn't be assigned to that job for a few years.
When Marhyali was only three years old, their older sister was essentially kicked out. They turned on their sister as their parents had started convincing them that she was evil and a bad influence on them.
Growing up
As their seventh hatching day neared, pressure from their parents grew ever heavier. It was at this point Marhyali realized they didn't want to blindly follow their parents' aspirations. Most dragons assumed Marhyali would ask for and then graciously accept to be a part of their parents' profession. When their seventh year came, they were incredibly nervous. What if the council decided their only use was to follow after their parents?
It was a surprise to most when Marhyali requested a different role than what everyone expected of them. Luckily for Marhyali, there was a slight demand for rest places for working Dewwings and travelers at the time, allowing for them to set up their very own tea bar to the dismay of their parents.
This caused a huge rift for the family, a feeling of betrayal, failure, and overall bitterness casting Marhyali out. They wound up taking years of saved up funds and moving out, all the way to the outskirts of the Inflorescence.
Current
Today, Marhyali lives peacefully alone. For all of the years spent without any support or connection, all of the time spent at their tea bar has made up for it. Over the years, they have seen hundreds of faces, dozens of returning ones, and heard countless stories of the world.
Not a single day goes by where Marhyali regrets their decision to leave home. Their bartending job has brought them so much joy even though they haven't talked to their parents for years and have no plans of rekindling a relationship. Despite their hatred for their home life, they still miss their older sister and hope she finds and visits them one day.
Nisxari
Siblings
They were incredibly close as dragonets. They were each other's favorite dragons and practically inseparable. After Nisyxari left the house at her seventh hatching day, they would never meet again. Marhyali originally took their parent's side, hating her, but after their own seventh hatching day they began to love her again. They miss her everyday, and they hope to find her.
Ariipaea
Acquaintances
Arii is a frequent customer of Marhyali's tea bar. The two share life stories and generally spend more time with each other than other customers. Marhyali makes sure that there's always a nice calm corner for Arii to sit in if they aren't up for interaction, and generally looks out for their wellbeing. They've evem memorized each of Arii's favorite teas and foods, and always has them on hand just in case.
Main Contact | Stopping by their tea bar is the best way to get ahold of them. Hardly a day goes by where they don't at least pop in.
Secondary Contact | While they don't appreciate those stopping by their residence, they will be happy to respond to any letters or meetups outside of work as long as it fits their schedule.
