Melpomene Thrussell

Melpomene's name means "To Sing/Celebrate With Song" in reference to the muse of tragedy. The Thrussell part of her name means "Song Thrush (bird)" which is an Old English term for a cheerful person 

Melpomene passed when she was about 8 years old due to illness and was sent to the unborn where Saint Nikolas takes care of her among many other children. She took up celestial magic in hopes of evading reincarnation so she could meet her parents again. Though she has a great affinity for celestial magic her poor patience has made progress slow. This has also made her lacking in her understanding of Latin and she often botches her spell causing them to blow up in her face. This tendency has made the other kids in the Unborn avoid and mock her and she ends up spending most of her time alone.

Divinum Dies Irae:
While Melpomene was helping put away books in the Afterlife's library she picks a book off the shelf that speaks to her. She cannot read the book's text but in the back of it there is a mirror with an angel inside of it. The angel convinces Melpomene that they are trapped in a prison unjustly and helps her develop her magic further in hopes she can break them free. Not realizing this angel is Belial, the king of Hell, she innocently does her best to help them and ends up causing Heaven's second war.
