Kua'i Tiao

A tale that begins with love, misunderstandings, heartbreak, and betrayal, oh my! Kua'i Tiao was always a (wannabe) socialite, and inserted herself squarely in the web of politics and high society in Irken-Alliance era Vort and Irk itself at a very young age (having a mixed reputation in each.) She was trying to be as far from her parents as she could, really. Her memories of them are fuzzy, but she certainly doesn't remember there being any love. It was something she craved dearly.

So when she encounters a beautiful, gem encrusted crown and a bitter figure who shared much the same feelings about society she did, she immediately sided with him. How compelling his tragic story of how the Irken Armada and Vortian Technology killed his people was! He didn't deserve being trapped away by the stuffy Vortian official Kua'i Tiao hated so much (this ALSO being a way to get back at that guy!)

Anyways. She essentially started a spread of The Crown throughout Vort and Irk... And she would've gotten AWAY with it TOO, if not for that one stupid defective Irken (ZIM, his name was??) who KILLED the IRKEN TALLEST while working with one of Vort's BEST SCIENTISTS, setting off an investigation in DEFECTORS that got her EXILED FROM HER HOME, which ALSO gets DESTROYED!!

She really did love her home. But the past was the past, and Xlmarx was the only one who cared about her. Of course she'd stick with him.

Luckily, she and her new boss didn't have to spend too much time at a loss for what to do! Mostly because one of Kua'i Tiao's favorite contacts just HAPPENED to defect from the Irken Empire and take some precious documentation with him... And he's coming to HER for help FIRST! How romantic! It certainly helps that he's escaped off to a planet waaay off of the Armada's map (Perfect for testing The Crown more! The last run did NOT go well.)

The events of Shooting Star happen here, and Kua'i Tiao realizes that maybe she just needs better friends. The more that she, Tib, and Ely learn about Xlmarx and The Crown, she decides that "Hey! Maybe involving innocents is a really shitty way to go about this!!" And it ends with them. Erm. Putting him to peaceful rest ^_^;;

The NOT shitty revenge plan she decides to take up is joining The Resisty with Tib, which means they have to leave Earth behind (they'd grown kinda attached to the dumb dirt ball.)
