Backstory:
Hornetwhisker started off as a loner roaming the outskirts of CreekClan territory as a younger cat. Found by a patrol and taken back to the Clan leader, Hornet was accepted into the Clan as a warrior's apprentice and took the name Hornetpaw. As they grew into being a warrior, Hornetwhisker set her sights on becoming CreekClan's next deputy. Although, they weren't nearly as ambitious as other cats were, and was fully content on letting Gingerhawk- the current deputy at the time- serve until they were ready. As trouble brewed with a nearby group of rogues killing Clan cats, Hornetwhisker went on a rescue mission to save DustClan's leader and his son: Whitestar and Buckpaw. Although during the mission, she ran into the young CreekClan apprentice Ripplepaw and helped him get to Whitestar and Buckpaw. Alongside a friendly rogue named Vine, Hornetwhisker helped Whitestar and the others escape. As they were about to leave however, CreekClan's leader Tsunamistar- who had gone mad due to the rogue leader's meddling- attacked and Hornetwhisker took on the leader by themselves so as to let the others get away. Following a lengthy fight that left Hornetwhisker missing an eye and scarred horribly, she chased Tsunamistar out of Clan territory and managed to get to DustClan's camp and be nursed back to health. There, she met and bonded with Snowspots: A she-tom with a sharp tongue and quick wits. During an invasion on the camp launched by the rogues, Hornetwhisker defended DustClan but in turn, Snowspots was killed. Grieving for the only DustClan cat she liked, Hornetwhisker returned to CreekClan, much to the relief of their Clanmates. After a few moons, she met Snowspots in StarClan in a dream. Overjoyed at being reunited with her beloved, Hornetwhisker discovered that the rogues she thought were gone forever, had formed a new Clan- SnowClan- and their leader Dropstar had gotten nine lives from StarClan. Hornetwhisker is eventually appointed as Gingerhawk's- now Gingerstar- new deputy and now awaits for the potential of bearing kits of her own.
