Ha-Yun Shin was born in Hylaeus City around the year 2070, in a large elf family in an apartment. As a young boy, he struggled to find a direction to go in life, often idling and watching the world pass him by. He soon ended up with a box of old stories and films given to him by his uncle. During his school years, he often pulled out one of the old books for reading or even watched the films alone in his room on weekend nights. Over time, he began to idolize these fictional characters. Their wit and devotion to stopping crime resonated with the young boy, and became something he ended up fixating on.

He was eventually accepted into the Hylaeus Institute of Arts, which is not well known for its Criminal Justice Major but it ended up being the one with the best scholarship. At first, he was having a difficult time understanding and jotting down what was being taught to him. It felt much more off and not as glamorous as his inspirations once made them out to be. It made him have to devote so much of his spare time to trying to grasp the material and almost lost some of his friendships because of it.

However, one night, one of his friends ended up getting bullied by a bad gang at the college after he noticed them walking by his window. He ran out to stop them, only to get roped into what ended up being an old initiation ‘ritual.’ Ha-Yun ended up getting into an argument with one of the heads of the group, debating into the night about if they’re even allowed to do something like this. Eventually, Ha-Yun won the argument thanks to all his learning, helping his friend break away and winning the trust of the few that were around.

After that day, Ha-Yun ended up becoming much more comfortable with his path and ended up working more towards understanding and becoming an expert on Law and Criminal Justice. Now during his summer break, he works as an intern for an attorney. He feels ready and confident for whatever the world may throw at him next tho, with determination and a law book in hand.
