Firstborn son to Dawnwhistle and ChubFeather, Rainstar had a good kithood. Playing with the others in the nursery he quickly adapted to learning about hearing. That being a strong suit noted by GoldenStar, he was mentored by WoodpeckerClaw. Who taught him well but lacked on fighting, causing Rainpaw to watch him be murdered right before his warrior ceremony during a surprise raid by daisyclan. He asked goldenstar before hand if he could be named Rainwing after his mentor, since he was named after a bird. He ended up rejecting a cat named Beetlepelt, who later revealed that they were pregnant from another cat outside the clan and didn’t want to be banished. Allowing the secret being hidden, Rainwing decided to help raise Beetlepelts kits as his own.
Beetlepelt ended up having four kits, much less to rainstars joy. Two toms, Archkit and newtkit and two Mollys, Hawkkit and Oddkit. Oddkit had a splayed foot. The other kits their mentors, sadly during the passing leafbare oddpaw had passed after being unable to detect an infection in her paw. Beetlepelt grew into a depression and Rainstar helped his friend. He soon watched Archshade, NewtSpots and Hawkthicket grow into adults.
Rainstar gained and taught his own apprentice named Ashpaw. Who grew into a nice Tom named Ashleg. Soon at a gathering, it was revealed that a sickness had started spreading. Causing the deputy to fall and Rainwing gained his place instead. A badger attack took place taking the life of newtspots. This led to Beetlepelt disappearing and BrookClan found her outside a kittypet place with another tom. It was there she revealed the true heritage of her kits. And left to become a kittypet. Rainwing was there for the last breath of GoldenStar, who passed from a collapsed lung. As he became Rainstar, both his parents finally passed the following leaf-fall.
Many moons later he had passed he watched as his friend Oakbelly drew into insanity. And left him a prophecy of a Kit, who he named after himself. To Rainstarsdismay.
