Given the power of impeccable foresight, a vessel is capable of judging situations effectively. In rare cases, they may catch a glimpse of something that is to come, though this is far from true prophecy and is extremely unreliable.
By virtue of being the vessel of a deity, sometimes those connections to the god’s sacred animal(s) transfer over. This provides the person with the ability to have a natural bond with certain types of animals, as well as the ability to temporarily tame them.
Gifted with the vision of a true bird of prey, the vessel can see things from much further away than the average person. They have an easier time picking things out from a scene. Nothing escapes their gaze.
The blade goes unseen in the dark. Deities associated with the underworld, darkness, and the night may sometimes pass on this trait to their vessels. For a short period, the vessel can blend in with the shadows, rendering them not truly invisible but very hard to spot.

Design notes
- Slightly curved nose, like a beak.
- Sqaured face with a slight roundness on the jaw.
- There's a single mole on the left side of his lips, under the mouth itself.
- Round eyes, usually half-closed to give an impression of a laid back and lazy student.
- He has a noticeable scar on his chest on the shape of an x. It usally peeks out when he wears his regular v-neck shirt.
- Hair is usually kept down or held in a small ponytail. If the hair is down, there's a good chance there's small braids behind the ears.
- Usually seen with coin, flipping it when talking with people—espeacially when they're expecting information of ANY kind out of him.
- Comfortable clothing are his go-tos. He is not above wearing tourist trap t-shirts on his time off.

Childhood
- Left in the care of his paternal uncles for an indefinite period due to his parents serving jail time.
- He lived in Florida, but never stayed in on place for long. Constantly moving due to his uncle's frequent brushes with the law.
- The art of art forgery has been passed down succesfully.

Lies and Dolos
- With art forgeries, Sylvester's copies of his uncles' work attracted much unwanted attention and brough grief to the Rivas.
- Sylvester's unfinished copy somehow got in the hands of a very powerful customer who, upon discovery of the fake, wanted to send a "message." Sylvester was that means for it.
- Dolos spoke to him that day. And with the permission of a god, Sylvester lied.

God Abilities
perfectionist
Sometimes, the perfect forgery requires something extra. The vessel is inherently capable of creating copies of items with enchantments, at the cost of it taking an additional amount of time to complete. The more of that specific enchantment the vessel creates, the easier it becomes to forge it. They are also able to determine how strong an enchantment is by looking at the object, and a little investigation may reveal exactly what it is to them.
double trouble
Two little liars are better than one. By channeling some of their magic into a more complex illusion, the vessel can create a “copy” of themself. They will be able to pilot this copy as they see fit, either giving it a command to act out (such as entering a room, running down a hallway, etc) or transferring their sight over to it and manually piloting the clone themself. The latter will leave the vessel more vulnerable as their senses are transferred over to the clone. The copy will vanish when it takes damage
Trick of the light
Of course it’s real, what are you talking about? It’s definitely not a false image. Nope. Using a little bit of magic, the vessel can create a minor illusion of their choice, including any scents or noises associated with it. They cannot create an illusion larger than themself.
Switcheroo
In the blink of an eye, what’s yours will be mine. If the vessel succeeds in distracting their target, they can swap what is in the target’s hand for an item on the vessel’s own person. For a brief period of time, it will be impossible for the target to distinguish the item they’ve been given for the item the vessel has taken from them. The effect naturally wears off in a minute, but if the vessel concentrates they can extend it up to 5 instead.
