| her robot form is engineered & maintained by noemi, who has maybe too much fun giving her special features to show off her own skill- but supposedly in the spirit of encouraging kita to socialize more easily. kita sees her as a mom friend in the literal sense and gets easily embarrassed by her antics, but the way they act is often more akin to sisters. she's close friends with paige, and has a short lived obligatory celebrity crush on yoji. she likes to be around people generally and has low standards for how to be treated after an AI lifetime of soaking up people's interactions on the internet. frederick especially grinds her gears through his failed attempts to understand her while emi insists on keeping him around. they'll get there i'm sure |

she has a fondness and heightened empathy for inanimate electronics since she believes people mistreat them too often. she's capable of switching between voice banks on a whim with slight delay, as is true with most of her features (she's prone to lag). with this in mind u can imagine her taking on the voice of hatsune miku or the awful tiktok voiceover whenever it's entertaining. some of her capabilities are basically meant as party tricks or as a show of noemi's skill, so they can at times be reliant on outside commands; kita has enough agency to shut them down and refuse to respond if and when people are really getting on her nerves. this is not an ella enchanted situation, & very few parameters are important enough to override her own decisions- but she does still have hangups about being reliant on system maintenance to function, and the longer she goes as an independent entity the more it bothers her |
