Smug, selfish, and uncaring, Byte does not remember a world before capitalism. Captured and corrupted by The [REDACTED] Corporation, Byte has no memory of their prior existence as a peaceful cosmic diety. To it, they are just a salesman for the company, using any means necessary to fulfill their bosses's wishes of controlling as much of reality as possible. It's only loyal to the laws of the corporation because that's all they've ever known. That's all it's allowed to know.

     Once it eats and ultimately destroys The [REDACTED] Corporation, Byte is nowhere to be found in any world. Broken, alone, and rethinking, they spend the rest of their days looking for a new purpose. It tries to heal from the trauma while repairing all the damage they had done. Byte knows it cannot change their past, but it hopes to one day change their future. For the better.
