DESCRIPTION
Hyojin may come off as a bit of an asshole, but the truth is, he's really a gigantic asshole. Really, he's a right prick. He is often very harsh when it comes to judgement, and is always blunt when speaking. He never lies to avoid hurting other's feelings, because he believes it's best to know the truth and be hurt than be told lies and be happy. All that being said, once you get close to him, he's really not that bad. He's often very affectionate even though he hates to admit it, and though he may call you his enemy what he really means is 'the love of my life'.
Hyojin gets very jealous very easily, and is very possessive over his friends. Whenever he sees them talking with people he doesn't know, he often tried to join in conversation so as to make sure that his friend doesn't drift away from him - this is because he had a long history of being dropped by friends, which gave him his grouchy personality.
Hyojin was born in Jeju, South Korea, and practically since day 1 he dreamed to become an idol. He always had an interest in rapping, developing a skill in it very early on. He picked up an interest in playing piano, and got very good at it, playing for competitions and receiving multiple awards.When he grew to the age of 15, he moved to Seoul to persue his dream of becoming an idol. He auditioned to become a trainee under HMJ Entertainment and got in. After a few years of training, Hyojin debuted in a boygroup. This didn't last long, though, as they disbanded about a year and a half later. It didn't take long for him to debut again as a soloist and as his relationships with the other idols under his label developed, he and his closest friend Min-jae started to produce music together as well, debuting as a duo alongside their solo work.
