THE VOID

voidmatter,or the void for short,is a sentient parasite created by Doctor Celestial. without a body,they are these crystal like “void shards” who have little consciousness and are unable to move. but once able to attach to a host,they latch onto the host and slowly fuse with the hosts consciousness,taking them over and altering their behavior slowly.

those infected by voidmatter are a hivemind and can communicate mentally. those infected also develop “mutations” like extra limbs,eyes,horns,wings, and other wild stuff. 

the central point of the void is called the “Voidroom”. it is a room entirely covered in voidmatter. it is the result of several void shards molding together and thus has many consciousnesses infused into it. it can command those infected by the void around,but mainly commands Dr.celestial,as he was the first living being to be infected so they feel “connected” to him in a weird way.

the voidroom also can form a physical body,but not for long,as it takes lots of energy to hold itself together like that.
