Description

Subject Theta is a tall, lithe creature originating from the so-called Upside Down. Nicknamed "Demogorgons", she is a member of a species with pale white skin, featureless faces, and a huge, flower-like mouth lined with hundreds of teeth. Her unique, dark bluish hide shines iridescent in the sun; she has five massive, elongated fingers on each hand-like claw. She has a hollow, eerie voice that calls in shrieks and blips. On her right shoulder, her subject number has been tattooed onto her skin. Theta is approximately 9 feet tall.

Information

An artificially-made Demogorgon from a secret facility in Hawkins, Indiana. Created from a test tube, Subject "Theta" was born free of the mysterious hive mind ruling the Upside Down. As such, she is non-aggressive and displays tolerance to sunlight, unlike natural-born Demogorgons. However, she is still suseptible to fire and heat. Her hide is more vibrant than the average subject, and she appears to be remarkably intelligent; she is playful, mischievous even, and is highly motivated by food and her own curiosity. Even so, she is usually kept in containment to prevent an incident like '83.

The subject is only the second of her kind to make it past an embryo stage in a lab. She is the first to grow to maturity. Researchers work closely with Theta, observing her behavior and even training her to recognize certain commands and voices. She is more cooperative with female scientists, oddly enough, and sometimes even plays tricks on the male doctors. Unlike the rest of the monstrous Demogorgons, Subject Theta actually dislikes most meat. She prefers plant-based items as well as fish on occasion.

Against the laboratory's wishes, the government wants to use Theta as a weapon of war. Almost as though sensing it, she becomes hostile in the presense of military personnel. The top-secret facility housing her has plans to move to a classified location before the government can intervene.
