Medusa "2.0"

Medusa (or Medusa “2.0”, if you want to be specific) has embraced the reinvented identity the park provided his coaster with. But even after their second retheme, Medusa still treats others as they would like to be treated— kindly! Once again donning the name she had for her coaster’s first decade of operation, Medusa retains her ability to breathe fire, summon drills from the ground, and produce a smokescreen (as well as the ability to “ignore the floor” like every Coasterdroid of a coaster with floorless trains). Medusa can turn people into stone once more— but only if he “calls upon the powers” of the mythical monster. When in this state, drawing blood from Medusa will cause rattlesnakes to spawn from the wound, and as a last-ditch effort, they can produce floodwater strong enough to decimate the surrounding area; it’s a power they rarely want to use. However, this link with the being that gave their roller coaster its name provided an entirely new power; being able to spin strands of their hair into precious metals (mainly gold). Her hobby in photography has also turned into a source of profit for Medusa, but monetizing it has not affected her enjoyment. A new hobby of theirs is collecting precious stones, metals, and minerals, and they’ve quickly picked up a vast knowledge of their variations (and price points). Medusa has acquired a pet python, with future aspirations of owning a western diamondback rattlesnake once he’s had enough experience caring for non-venomous snakes. Medusa’s best friend has always been (and still is) Harley Quinn, though you can also find them hanging out with Nitro, Toro, Batman, Superman, and Green Lantern. Don’t mistake Medusa’s kind and scholarly nature for them being weak— Medusa will not hesitate to strike back if threatened. After over two decades, Medusa continues to be as good as gold— a beloved friend and a worthwhile addition to Great Adventure’s coaster lineup.
