Overview
The second twin of Erik Destler and the surrogate sister(Elizabeth De Vampcourt) of his husband "Elias" Lazarus Destler. They refer to Erik as Father and Lazarus as dad. The Vampcourt twins lazarus and Elizabeth were turned into vampires by a mister Lestat de Lioncourt an older family friend. Elias bought the Opera de Populaire after hearing about its history and his love for music returning the vault to its beauty. After tracking down its old crew 11 years after it was burned down he found madame Giry, her daughter, and the musterious Erik Destler, his son Gustav, and the husband of his ex-lover Christine Daae Raoul Chagney. He hit it off with Erik after the two bonded over their love for the music of the night. Elias helped the crew with their shows in Coney island for several years until he invited the crew back to continue their work for the opera house now rebuilt. After agreeing to pull the buisness strings while Erik wrote and composed the music and plays the two grew closer until their marriage in 1909 where Elias turned Erik, where he managed both the opera house and Phantasma. The two quickly decided they wished to attempt to pas down their legacies resulting in Elias turning to his sister to ask if she would attempt to be their surrogate, thankfully on the seconf attempt the pregnancy took resulting in the twins Symphon and Octavius, the first full blooded vampires to be born. Often referred to by other vampires as "The Bloody Princes" or "The Princes of Music" even occasionally as "The True Princes" or "The First Borns". As the younger of the twins, Octavius, was weaker and sicker growing up resulting in them sticking under their fatther's wing learning to write, compose, and play, just as well as the older man. While Symphon assisted their dad in running the opera house and even singing in aome productions. Eventually Octavius gained enough strength they could also sing in the productions alhough they enjoyed playing Maestro or assisting their father. The twins share facial markings reniniscent of the octaves they can sing. Symphon being able to sing anything considered Bass or tenor with his Bass cleft marking, and Octavius being able to sing anything Alto and even soprano with their treble cleft marking. They were born with the markings and they darkened with age until they were 19 where the markings became completely black as their bodies stopped aging. Octavius not only takes after their father in their talents, they also resemble Erik while Symphon takes after Elias in both talents and looks. Symphon and Octavius were introduced to their family friends such as Lestat de Lioncourt and Louis de point du Lac.
The Masquerade/ Grand Reopening Gala
Invites went out to the original crew who were turned to aide in keeping the opera populaire in its glory, such as madame Giry continuing to choreograph the ballets, and anyone with connections to the old opera de populaire such as the Vicomte, Vicomtess and their son. At the gala the story of the old Opera de Populaire was told after the story was told by Elias and his family all in outfits reminiscent of Eriks original outfits dramatic music began playing as octavius made a dramatic entrance carrying a new revamped version of his father's Don Juan Triumphant that was lost to the fire. Octavius's entire outfit was modeled after hius fathers "Red Death" outfit, shocking the Changeys, terrifying the Vicomtess to learn that the Phantom now had children to carry on his reign of terror. However the dramatic flair from thr younger of the Destler twins caught Lestats eye, which began the twos centuries long flirting and promiscuous behaviors, bonding over their own love for music together the two were able to compose gorgeous symphonies together. Octavius presented the revmaped Don Juan to his father and it made Erik ecstaic and began their next seasons play. After the drama resumed to a normal level Erik announced that Octavius would be leading all decisions on it and that erik would play Maestro. Lestat decided to stick around and wath the production and practices take place.
Current
Octavius now both writes, produces, and acts in productions for both Phantasma and the opera house. He is still quite friendly with Lestat however after the drama with Louis and Claudia the two remained distant only meeting up every so many years.
