INFORMATION

I - STORY

Charlie grew up being extremely dependent on other people. She hardly did anything for herself and was terrified of the world. The more she grew, the more guilty she felt about it, and the more resent she started feeling towards herself and others. Eventually she completely switched and started doing dangerous, reckless things to prove to herself that she could. This resulted in her finding out about the Steel Ball Run race and travelling all the way form Ireland to America to take part.

She tends to refuse help from people and insists on doing things herself. She doesn't communicate with her family often, wanting to separate herself from others as much as possible. She can be very reserved and standoffish. She can also be irritable as she often gets frustrated with herself and others.

Charlie developed her stand as a child, though she didn't realise it at first. It started subconsciously and with a much less intense effect. As her and her emotions grew, the effect became more powerful. It was only when she became an adult that she realised what it was, and she used it to her advantage in her path to independence.

II - STAND ABILITY

Paranoimia is a stand with the ability to steal the confidence from its victims. Once the stand makes physical contact with someone, they are sent into a state of panic as they are suddenly overwhelmed by anxiety. This lack of confidence renders them near useless as they are unable to stand for themselves and make rational decisions. Charlie uses this to essentially take their confidence for herself.
