Pistol is a bit of a tomboy, and has definitely fallen in with the wrong crowd. However she has been lucky as Jesse Valentine noticed her panhandling (and gave her tips on her form) and has taken her under his wing. She is slowly learning to trust him, but had a bit of a setback when he became a pegasus. This drove her to try all manner of potions to try and get wings of her own so no one would ever leave her behind again.
Jesse has been working hard with her to reassure her that he's never going to abandon her and her friendship with Serena has really helped stabilize her
