The king’s royal gardener. He can’t remember life before the gardens, but he knows he hasn’t been living in the palace his whole life. At least, that’s what he believes. His good friend Rose let him in on a secret that the king is fond of keeping his subjects’ memories obscured. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer, as they say.

Rose has let him in on more than one king-related secret actually, including a very chilling one about the roses growing in the gardens. Alois calls Rose by their real name, since the association between Rose, a very lovely person, and the flowers the king is growing, is a bit too sickening for him.

He’s fond of his work, even if he knows there are more dirty secrets left covered by the leaves he prunes. He’s sticking to Rose to try and help them out with their revenge plot, but once they’re done he hopes to move far away and start a botanical garden.
