August 1, 22. Another dream version of Kevin-Kevin, but like... just in concept? Like it's definitely Kevin, but he's not related to his plot, setting, relationships, or anything. He's much darker skinned and has a lot of freckles. Can't quite seem to decide if he has glass hands and paws or regular human hands and feet... He's not evil and is under a significant amount of stress all the time, lol. (Except not-lol because it's me. I'm under a significant amount of stress. Why is Kevin my dream avatar). I'm not totally sure what was going on, but... an attempt will be made to write it down, a-hah. From what I figure, this is like four solid hours of content (ugh). The fade on his skin is the same color as his freckles (the full opacity ones)

To start off!! Kevin begins in I guess some sort of huge community center being used as a sort of school? Like there are large rooms with your typical, industrial, gray carpet floors filled with brown, metal folding chairs, but nothing really seems to be happening in there. There are nice windows and sunbeams, though. In other places, there are twisting halls with many smaller rooms branching off - these are the ones that look more like classrooms. Sometimes there appears to be a class in there, sometimes not. The folding-chair room often functions as a sort of hub where we all sit and hang out when we're not doing classes. Because we never go home, I guess? I think we live here. Classes, for all intents and purposes, seem to be optional. It's just something to do while you're living in here.

Despite being a school-I-guess, this building is pretty much only teenagers. Kevin himself is probably around 16, but there are definitely some 19-year-olds in here. The teachers aren't part of the teen conglomerate and appear to be varying ages, but they're kind of enigmas...? I only ever saw two in passing, one being probably early thirties and the other fifty-something. Kevin did not care about classes, so idk. Teachers seem to disappear when not "in use"

There is something very wrong with the world. There seems to be a very hostile alternate version of it that kind of blips and teleports in? So people have to be really careful, hence why we're all living in this weird community center. Outside looks like you'd expect with neighborhoods and everything, pretty trees, landscaping... but it seems to be a ghost town. It's pretty eerie. Presumably most people are in groups somewhere like the one Kevin's in. Despite the upkept appearance of everything, this is implied to be the way things are (TM), supposedly for some time. At least before Kevin was born.

Most people try to simply carry on with their weird lives, which often consists of things that Earth-people wouldn't consider normal. There aren't really jobs and an economy and such. You sort of... do crafts, take random classes, and go to restaurant outings in groups? We all try to function in these sort of contained herds because not everybody can see the blips. In fact, the group of people that can is relatively small. And they won't always say they can see stuff either, because it's not clear what happens to those people. You don't want to become some sort of weird sniffer dog that ends up getting super-murdered (because these blips are. Very bad. They have a very high mortality rate, it's spooky). Kevin is one of the people who can see blips and he has a small group of friends, most of whom are also seers. They're trying to figure out what to do because the blips are totally bleeding into the community center and they're getting worse. It's implied things are going to come to a head if we don't get this sorted out. And then we'll all die, I guess

While this is happening, Kevin sort of slips into an alternate reality, dream-state sort of thing totally seamlessly. This happens to his seer friends too - it's just sort of a seer thing. It might be part of the blips? Idk. The alternate reality is essentially exactly the same as base-reality, but often the blips have gotten a firm hold on things. Usually to return to base-reality (which they may not even know they're not in), the blips have to be contained or reverted. This is difficult due to how well the blips blend in and how totally hostile they are. One of the things they seemed to do all of the time was set these bombs that would replace a seemingly normal object - a floor tile, a book, a flowerpot. When touched, these would obviously go off, killing everyone in range and doing damage to the sanctuary of the community center. For now, we have no defense against this. What we do is heard everybody we can into the folding-chair-room and bar all the doors we can. Because the blips also manifest as people that tend to be super strong and unfair stuff like that. They're all around in random places and we're just kind of hiding from them and holding still. But there are so many people in the community center and it's such a massive maze that it's really hard to collect everybody. A lot of time is spent trying and also trying to convince the people in the main room to not move, please!! I know you're bored and want to wander off, but please stop

Kevin is doing a lot of the running around and bearing much of the brunt of the planning stuff. There are far more not-seers than there are seers, so collecting everybody is this huge horrible task. And also we can't just sit here forever! The blips could get in : ( So Kevin's trying to figure out a plan. We're also pretty sure we're in the alternate reality now, but we can't count on it. So half of the plan is just "stop being here, maybe?". It's incredibly stressful. After a while, things go silent. Everybody in the building seems to have gathered that we're hiding and waiting. But the blips appear to be doing this too... We're creeping around and trying not to set off any bombs we have no way of seeing because then the blips will know where we are

After doing that for a while, Kevin and his friends simply ~return~ to base-reality where they're sitting in the folding chair room (supposedly?). That's nice and all, but Kevin promptly freaks out because it seems that his body has sustained injuries in his absence. His fingers are all messed up... The pink on his left hand is long broken and healed over, somehow being fused to the palm. Half of his right ring finger is just gone and the last knuckle of the pinky on that hand has a weird downward kink in it. This is cause for much freak out while his friends try to reassure him, but he randomly calms down when he discovers his toes are okay? Lol, whatever. There's also some issue where we think we've aged. Like a lot. One of his friends has decided that he's thirty and Kevin is quite upset because he's certain he's 28. Why we've aged is unclear, I don't think it was supposed to do that. Kevin's very afraid that he's somehow going to have to live through whatever gave him these horrible hand injuries, but he never does end up in that reality thread

~Whatever the case~, we've got a problem and that problem is that base-reality(?) is suffering a blip attack very similar to that of alt-reality. Kevin and friends attempt to stop it and do end up altering the thread. The building has changed and there's now this place that looks like a really big, fancy library entrance. Like there are marble pillars and the thing's like three stories tall for some reason. The good part of this is that we can go outside, where we don't think the blips have set up bombs. There's also different people outside whom we begin merging with. Kevin makes the discovery of a little girl (probably 6/7?) who can see the bombs. He sends her out on missions to go and find these while he and company also try to remap the changed building. There appear to be apartments and things in here, some of which have people (who are no longer restricted to teens. For example, Little Girl's dad is outside). Now we have to find all these people, but also avoid the rooms full of blip-people who appear to be in planning seminars or just lying in wait. This is, again, very stressful and we do this for a while

Later on, Kevin (currently deep in the altered building) finds a white, long-haired cat. This cat is also able to see the bombs and we start using it to sniff them out deeper in while Little Girl supposedly maps out the earlier rooms. After supposedly locating a few bombs, the cat goes into some lady's apartment and starts meowing like crazy, digging through this abandoned laundry pile. Kevin and Friend are warning this lady and trying to get the heck out of there because cat's being pretty wild and we're worried she's going to set off whatever she thinks she's found. Instead it's discovered the cat had kittens in there...? There were like nine of them (and they were all in teacups on a baking tray for some reason, lol). Okay, cool. We might have more cats to work with, whatever, sure. They're very small though, so we're not counting on that yet

After that happens, we come across what looks like a haunted house...? Like it's blue-tinted and overly spooky looking with a sharply pointing roof. Inside it's a bit narrow, but otherwise normal looking. We have to explore in there, I guess, since we're looking for bombs and lost people. But inside ends up being another whole thing. Like it's super big in here, we might have entered another reality thread. Whatever the case, there are Bad Vibes in here and we're trying to figure out why. Kevin finds a lady in here that he acts like he's been in love with forever and she the same. They're happy to see each other, but wow! They wish they could find the cause of these bad vibes so they could leave

Most of the people end up vacating spooky-house before the problem is discovered. Apparently there's three blips here taking on the appearance of horror monsters. Like they're very tall and stretched out and stuff. There's a doll, a girl, and a canine-thing. They're chasing us very slowly, making the back parts of the house inaccessible. We're very slowly moving towards the front of the house, trying to figure out what to do as we go. Because if we don't figure out something by the time we get up there, these guys are going to get out and wreak havoc. Just as we've gotten to the front door, Kevin's trying to convince gf that it's okay, we'll figure this out, we just have to go. But she's taken on this sort of eerie sadness and eventually says that she has to stay here. The explanation wasn't great, but theoretically, if she died there, the blips would be bound to the house. This is very sad because the two of them just reunited and they love each other so much! : (( Very tearful. However, there's little for Kevin to do aside from cross the threshold and say his goodbyes. However, gf wants him to hold her hands while the blips catch up to her? Like, she says "look in my eyes, I want to see you cry", which is like,, what the heck, but I think it was supposed to be endearing...? Kevin is weirded out, but also he loves her and she's about to get murdered, so okay. He holds her hands while the things tear her apart. After this is done, the blips disappear

After a little bit of mourning, Kevin turns around to realize he is outside, signifying another reality change. Like, spooky-house is still here, it's just in the middle of this dry grassy area now, with a forest to his right and a highway to his left. Confused, he gets up and tries to find his way back to something he recognizes. It's really bad for him to be out here alone, but we're so bummed out that we're not really thinking about it. After a little while, he finds remnants of the library place, which appears to have been blown the heck up. This is very worrying, as he doesn't know if he's in base-reality. Thankfully, he finds this little semi-hairless dog that's able to see bombs, so he and it start going trough things, trying to uncover what happened. They find some bombs and the dog seemingly disables them? We also go further in where we find some of the building not-destroyed. We start going through the winding halls, looking for anybody other than blips. Unfortunately, we find blips

There's this stereotypical army guy that's like the main blip antagonist. He's super ripped with a white tank top and camo pants. He's blond with the buzz cut and blue eyes. Anyway, he's in here. The halls turn into this straight sequence of rooms where Kevin is fleeing from Army Guy, but Army Guy's beating the crud out of him. Like, each room is a garage? And there's a huge weird car in there, but Arm Guy's always ahead of him and flipping hoods at him or breaking windows and crud. Kev really gets put through the wringer, but he keeps going! Because, uh, the alternative is to die. (Little dog is not here, btw). At the very end, there's one more garage door, but this one's closed. Army Guy beat him to it and now he's guarding it, but Kev pulls one of his own tricks on him and like beats him up with hoods or something. Kev gets the door open and slips out onto some sort of boardwalk that appears to be in an incredibly lush garden. There's trellises covered in vines overhead and it's so plant-y outside that you can't really see anything besides green. This is implied to be a thread change, so Army Guy is gone

At the end of the boardwalk (which is just one straight line), there's a restaurant full of adults having one of their apparently scheduled outings. Kevin is relieved because one of his friends is here, so he's not totally out in the blip-void. The two of them catch up and Kevin asks what's been going on. While this is happening, there's a Guy nearby waiting for his food. Two ladies come in, see him, and start sobbing. This catches everybody's attention as these three people freak out upon seeing each other. Everybody but Kevin seems to know what's going on... After asking about 50 times, he finally kinda-gets...? that man is diseased or something? And the women knew him and upon being in contact with him, everybody in here is now diseased? But Kevin doesn't really understand because he hasn't had any disease threads. This is all new to him. Friend just kind of ushers him off and they leave as the restaurant descends into chaos and tears

The dream never came to a resolution regarding the blips, but Kev's friend did lead him back (or at least closer-to-back) to base-reality. There, he is tearfully delighted to find that his gf is still alive and the two of them reunite. Kev and friend have their own thread where they're off in some super-snowy place outside of this shack-y house somewhere, trying to avoid blip-dogs? Then they come back to supposedly-base-reality where they're in this super spread out junky neighborhood where all the grass is dead, the roads are dirt, it's heckin' hot, and there's no other civilization in sight. They start walking around and going up this big hill that leads into some kind of fenced in area, avoiding this scary rotund man who is weedeating with a gasmask on? And like a sick black tank top with flames, lol. Pretty sure he was a blip, but we're ignoring him and going to the fence-place

And then the dream turns into something irrelevant, waves my hand dismissively in the air. It was almost the same theme, but we're like stopping these blip bad-guys in this weird theater/museum/mall place, trying to keep them from murdering everybody. They're dressed like superheros for some reason and also we're making fun of them because they robbed a Burger King, I guess? Like lol, why would blips rob a Burger King, don't u have better stuff to be doing?

Anyway, yeah. I'll have to make something coherent out of that later. I'm tried of typing rn, bye
