Anya is very soft-spoken and admittedly a bit of a pushover, often keeping quiet in uncomfortable situations due to a lack of even knowing how to react to them. She spends a lot of time outside, enjoying taking long walks and enjoying nature, especially during the winter. Despite trouble she often has with the patrons, Anya loves the ski resort that she works at, though she isn't particularly fond of her job there. Her dream is to teach ski classes there, as she loves skiing--its one of the few activities that make her feel strong, graceful, and powerful and she's been skiing since she was very young--however, she is unable to get the job, being too soft-spoken to be able to teach and handle groups of probably restless children impatient to get on the slopes. In an effort to get over her anxieties, Anya practices looking straight ahead and keeping her head up, making eye contact with others, and practices speaking louder in front of a mirror at home. She normally speaks without a stutter, but when extremely flustered or uncomfortable she tends to fall into one.
