Serafina

Serafina, or ‘Fin’ for short, is a young Fire Genasi monk in the archipelago continent of Aurora. Although she isn’t super talkative, she has a heart of gold and is often cheerful. Ever since she was a child, she’s struggled forming words and expressing her feelings properly. At times she can be strict and serious, but she manages her temper well—something that she had to learn during her youth. Fin can come off as intimidating sometimes due to her being a Fire Genasi, but she’s bad with people due to her unintentional bluntness. Although she may not have many charms outside of her looks, she is an experienced fighter.

After she was forced to flee from her monastery, she joined the rebellion in hopes to help overthrow the Ice King, the stone-cold ruler of Aurora. She is known and respected among the members of the rebellion and was tasked with being the leader of a small party consisting of her and two others. What adventures await? Will the rebellion succeed in bringing peace to Aurora?

Early into the adventure, Fin met Jack, an Ice Genasi monk who used to be revered among her peers. Since then he's done unspeakable things and has earned a place in a hell that burns hotter than her. He has taken a liken to her, which she despises. She wants nothing to do with someone so terrible. He gifted her his old magic bracers.. 'Ultra-Violet.' This weapon has been awakening Fin's old thoughts of anger and hatred. Hopefully nothing goes wrong !! heart emoji giggle

Serafina was born during a solar eclipse to two human parents. They didn’t really know how to take care of a Fire Genasi, so they gave her to the local monastery after they got overwhelmed. They took her in as their own and put her through basic schooling and teachings. She was quiet child, but not by any means anti-social. She had a hard time articulating words and expressing her thoughts, leaving her frustrated. While growing up, Fin showed signs of extreme anger and violent tendencies due to her frustrations. A bit… ‘hot-headed,’ if you will. Although she didn’t mean it, she would sometimes cause accidents during her outbursts. Nothing too dangerous, however, at least most of the time. This continued until the monastery became worried. One of the respected higher-ups brought her under their wing and taught her about the way of the Sun Soul. This allowed her to learn how to project her angers and negative feelings into power, as well as finally learning how to control her feelings in a healthy way. Things were normal after that.

After the accident, Fin almost started to spiral out of rage and despair. She managed to keep her cool, wanting revenge. After a while, she was introduced to the rebellion and has been an active part since. She isn’t very high up in rank but is respected and known. Now, she’s formed a team with Ward and Amu in attempts to stop the torment of Aurora once and for all.

• Her neutral state consists of red flames. When she is angry or in combat, her flames burn hotter, turning blue and purple.
• She loves to drink tea with Ward and Amu.
• When Ultra-Violet is active (Ultra-Violent), the veins on the braces light up a bright purple.
• The ends of her scarf are always burning.
