Tarma is a closed species co owned by Puniball and nochenails

(Is a MYO slot so parents are just a backstory)

I will refer to this baby as Tapeesa when in summer coat and Meriwa when winter coat, unless anyone has a nickname for her.

Backstory

An originally abandoned egg, she was found by Leche (The caretaker of abandoned eggs and such, official character of the Tarma group that doesn't belong to me) who gave it off to a good home. There she was then named Tapeesa (Arctic Flower) by a strangely familiar older, domestic, female, normal Tarma from the Alaskan family that adopted her and received all the love she could ever ask for.

One night, Tapeesa experienced a dream where she saw her feral Angora father abandoning her with difficulty. He had no choice because it was a difficult winter and he had left his group behind in Siberia to join his domestic mate and travel to a different continent, then specifically to Alaska. In the end, the call of the new land was too strong and he ended up becoming a feral again. And in a moment of selfishness, wishing to not have to wander alone, he stole the egg they had together in their travels. It was harsh surviving in a different land for him, different predators, different prey, plants, etc. He wasn't taking it too well.

He was a wild animal at heart who prioritized his own life over his young to raise his survival chance, because he could always have young again. Though he may never meet his dear mate again due to his decision. And so he decided to leave the egg to fate. One thing he did do, was name the little egg Meriwa (thorn) in hopes that the name would protect it from both the cold and the predators.

Tapeesa understood this on the instinctual level and became conflicted on which name to take. She also lost the feeling of belonging in her home because the thought of becoming feral was so deeply seeded in her mind.

Due to her appearance of both having pedigree and feral traits, she knew that the mate of her father was a domestic Tarma.

She once asked Leche if she knew who her other parent was. Leche did indeed know. Tapeesa/Meriwa didn't dare ask how Leche knew that. She had an inkling in her heart that Leche probably even knew their names. Somehow, Tapeesa/Meriwa subconsciously understood how Leche knew that, but at this time, she was still young. So she panicked and decided to run and figure out life for herself. That's how she found herself being an Alaskan feral. (If I can't use Leche in my background story for this kid let me know!)

Goes both by Meriwa and Tapeesa. Rarely it's based on her moods. Most of the time based on seasons.

Gives 'Meriwa' when winter/autumn

Gives 'Tapeesa' during summer and spring.

May give 'Meriwa' as a name to appear stronger aka to protect herself or others.

May give 'Tapeesa' as a name to be more affectionate and sweet.

-generally a loner, but just maybe hasn't found their group yet

-likes alaska

-likes playing in the the grass and on rocky hills when summer comes and brings green to Alaska.

-has difficulty digging due to not having claws on front paws. Just hides in naturally occurring caves or old animal burrows.

-likes winter because ice caves are pretty and fun to slide in.
