RE: Farfalle

Farfalle (they/them, unless disguised as someone else), a stand user with an ability that originally manifested as an “adapting” ability but they figured out a way to manipulate it to change into anything they needed or wanted so they’ve become a notorious shapeshifter within the team. Relatively unknown outside of it, Farfalle uses that to their advantage generally. They are technically part of the Hitmen Team, but more so its subgroup that Farfalle is considered the head of although they’re a bit too distracted for the role. Like many shapeshifting characters, they’re playful and mischievous (and full of insecurities). Nobody’s really sure about where they came from, but rumours amongst the team members say Risotto picked them up like a wet stray cat in the rain and brought them inside. Others say tortured and couldn’t be killed so Risotto decided to just make them an assassin. Which is why they’re a bit… spacey occasionally. They’re most likely to shapeshift as another person, either to hide or emotionally damage someone.

Appearance

Appearance is subject to change due to stand's ability. Farfalle appears to "settle" on a set appearance that is human in appearance. Messy blue hair tied into a small ponytail by a light purple bow fashioned to resemble a butterfly. A loose off-white suit worn with the chest open to reveal a dark purple crop top. Teal blue cuffs around wrists and ankles with a swirling pattern, a cold belt with a similar pattern around their waist. Dark purple oxford shoes and a gold necklace.

Personality

Farfalle is often incredibly mischievous especially towards teammates. They seem to pick on Prosciutto the most. They are spacey and lack focus off missions, leading to a need for others to keep an eye on them. During missions, mainly thanks to training, Farfalle is capable of focusing and staying on task. Their method of attack is usually deception, and occasionally using their stand to inflict emotional damage on the target by learning information on them.

Known History

Farfalle seems to take on the role of what others expect of them, working off of others' assumptions on their character. Up to a certain point mainly as they seem to play it as a game. This has lead to others not knowing exactly what Farfalle's past is, sometimes due to Farfalle not saying anything except small tidbits or Farfalle working off whatever assumption the person had made when asking about Farfalle's past. It changes as much as they do.

The basic knowns of how Farfalle ended up with La Squadra is that Risotto Nero brought them in and kept them hidden for a bit while figuring out their ability. Prosciutto, Sorbet, and Melone were the only other ones to know of their existence. Prosciutto as he had been with Risotto that day and Melone was asked to test their DNA. It's unknown if they possessed the stand beforehand, even Risotto unsure of this. Some of the squad joke that Risotto brought Farfalle in like a wet stray cat from the rain after being unable to kill them. Others say they were accidentally hit with the stand arrow during initiation of an actual candidate that ended up dying from the arrow, and after not being able to be killed for witnessing the initiation, Risotto took them in.

Farfalle was trained by Prosciutto for the most part, especially after it was revealed they had found a way to look like others and decided Prosciutto would be one of the first trials of that. Prosciutto was unhappy with this before he began training Farfalle to look and act like him in case it was needed for a mission.

Contacts

Risotto Nero [ boss ] Although Farfalle enjoys teasing and being playful, they seemed to have a fair relationship. Risotto seems to ask Farfalle for assistance when needed and has trust in them. Although at first it seemed it was because he couldn't kill Farfalle, and occasionally if Farfalle is acting up, Risotto has to become creative with discipline as he does with the others. The others joke that Risotto can't put the fear of god in Farfalle. Despite this, Farfalle can often be found napping somewhere in Risotto's office in one form or another, with Risotto not minding their presence there. In reality, Farfalle does respect Risotto and generally does what they're requested of, especially if Risotto says their name for some reason.

Prosciutto [ mentor/teammate ] Thanks to Prosciutto's more serious nature, Farfalle seems to enjoy teasing him the most. Prosciutto resents the fact that not much seems to work on Farfalle if Farfalle is in a playful mood. However, when it's more work or training related and Farfalle can take on a more serious attitude, Farfalle seems to show fear towards Prosciutto for some reason. During missions, if they are without Prosciutto and become anxious or uncertain, they either shift their voice or entire body to resemble Prosciutto's in order to tell themselves what to do. The others hate this as thanks to Prosciutto's training, Farfalle does a very good impression of Prosciutto.

Melone [ teammate ] Although generally a 'strictly business' attitude is seen between them, the two are often scheming together with "tests". These "tests" are often science related, given Melone's background and Farfalle's ability to survive things or disguise as others/objects, much at the cost of property or other's safety. Melone thinks Farfalle's stand and ever changing DNA is fascinating, having once gotten a Junior to try to attack Farfalle to see what would happen.

Formaggio [ teammate ] Antics between these two often relate to a more comedic purpose.

Panini [ teammate ] A newer teammate and part of the subgroup Farfalle has, Panini respects and trusts Farfalle. He refers to them as "Boss" especially in public where he doesn't want to reveal names of his teammates. He is often tasked with dealing with clients with his more outgoing personality, and gives messages and updates to Farfalle. Although he respects them, he is often tired trying to keep up with Farfalle's antics and random behaviours without notifying him first. Farfalle in turn seems to enjoy his company and looks after him.
