Before taken by the fog, Jon was a popular new star in the field of radio. With a clear and commanding voice he worked for a number of stations; announcing anything from news and politics to late night stories to tell in the dark. The dark came to haunt him though, pulling him into a dark and deadly game that took so much for him...but also gave him something to hope for.
Now back in his own time he waits patiently through the decades, waiting until he can meet his soulmate face to face again. Of course, things are never as easy as it seems, and there's times where he wishes to be back in a place where things were much more simple.

Once an opinionated and hot-headed youth, Jon has seriously mellowed out with age and now appreciates his peace and quiet more than anything. He likes to take his time now with decisions, using his brain and not the temper that he once had. A kind and caring man to the select few he chooses to care about, he's an incredibly good soul if you manage to take the time to befriend him.

- is very stubborn and stuck in his ways; it's almost impossible to get him to change his mind.
- an expert at hiding his fears an insecurities behind a grumpy frown and a great deal of deflecting. he's incredibly sensitive about his age and what's happened in his life, but he'd never let anyone know about it.
- past traumas has made him quite unused to being around people, and moved to a home in the middle of nowhere so he doesn't have to deal with them or the press. he likes his peace and quiet, and wants it to stay that way.

Jon met Dara inside the fog when he was much younger; just a spry and cocky man who thought he could defeat anything in his path. Their relationship soon blossomed into a romance, but with coming from very different times, Jon had to wait decades to finally see him after escaping from the trials they were thrust into. He loves the man desperately, but with their now large age difference, he wonders if Dara would be happier with someone closer to his own age.
Being a great lover of all things antique, Wanda's shop is often frequented by Jon looking for the next piece to decorate his home with. He's stricken up quite the friendship with her, enjoying her dry wit and easy-going sense of humor. He does wonder sometimes if they may have had similar experiences in the fog....
While Jon had to meet Jen due to some horribly traumatic experiences, he appreciates the investigator's friendship and bonds with her over some mutual acquaintences. He's grateful that she's around to look out for Wanda, knowing that woman has a tendency to get into trouble she can't always get out of.
