The Dazzling, hatched as Prydna Lyster, is an adult rainbowdrinker who has taken the mantle of space Pirate Captain! She is completely over-the-top, but deeply cares for her crew and her rebellion. Since she is a rainbowdrinker, she does occasionally have to drink blood, but thankfully she has people who will help her with that.
On Little Old Alternia, Prydna Lyster grew up yearning for the stars. She was small, meek, and humble. Prydna hated the caverns and she hated her horrible Jade sisters. After an early molt, she ran from a future of tending to grubs or worse, and went as a stowaway on a departing ship. Losing her life in the process and becoming undead, she killed everyone on the ship, and decided it was hers now. Over the sweeps she has gathered a good crew, an amazing extravagance, and a stunningly fearful reputation!
