She was the crown princess of her home country, and even at a young age, she was greatly skilled in magic, quickly surpassing many of her teachers. But unfortunately, she was born during a time of war. Tragedy struck when the capital city was invaded. She fought valiantly to try and protect her people, but she was wounded and was left unable to fight. An injured comrade managed to drag them both to safety and used his world jumping abilities to take her and himself to the world of Hetra. The plan was to go back as soon as he had the strength to muster up another portal, but he succumb to his injuries before then. The fate of her people would forever be unknown to her as he found herself stranded in a strange world.

She was soon found by a coven known as the Winter Witches of the North. Sensing her strength, they cared for her and allowed her to join them. (After seeing Ice’s strange brand of magic, some even began to think she was the reincarnation of their goddess). After enjoying many prosperous years with the witches, a splinter group (which would later evolve into the Hunters) waged war on the coven. She did her best to defend of allies, but eventually, the group raided the castle and overpowered her and her friends. She was dragged outside where her heart and her soul were cut out of her chest as her enemies watched. The heart contained all her power and was to be used for their conquest. Fortunately, her allies managed to take both her heart and body and escape, ending the chaos. After failing to find a way to revive her, they encased her body in a block of ice and hid it in an undisclosed location, and then they swore to protect her heart from ever falling into the wrong hands.
