Icestrike and Nightpool met while they were still apprentices. They became close quickly and soon began meeting every night by the lake. When they became warriors, they became mates and Nightpool asked Icestrike to help him kill Lynxstar so he could be leader. Icestrike agreed, but Nightpool died. Icestrike left the Clans after Nightpool's death and died soon after murdering his father to avenge his siblings.

Notes:

• Icestrike valued Nightpool more than he valued his own life
• Icestrike was the only cat Nightpool could actually be open with
• Icestrike saw a side of Nightpool no other cat did

Frostflame was Nightpool's mentor. Frostflame is the cat who figured out Nightpool's plan to kill Lynxstar before anyone else and was the one to form a plan to stop him. Even though Frostflame failed to stop Nightpool before he killed Lynxstar, Frostflame still brought an end to Nightpool's tyrannical reign and an end to his life.

Notes:

• Frostflame had so much hope for Nightpool while he was an apprentice
• Frostflame gave up on Nightpool when Nightpool nearly got Starlingsong killed - Frostflame believed Nightpool was unredeemable.
• Frostflame will never forgive Nightpool for what he did, but wishes things could have been different

Starlingsong had been friends with Nightpool since they were nearly apprentices. They grew up in the nursery together and became apprentices together. While Starlingsong had feelings for Nightpool, he did not have any feelings back and used her emotions to his advantage. Starlingsong helped Frostflame take down Nightpool in the end.

Notes:

• Starlingsong loved Nightpool so much that she didn't realize he was manipulating her until it was too late.
• Starlingsong will never forgive Nightpool for starting the battle that killed her father, Speckleflame.
• Starlingsong fell out of love with Nightpool after her father died.

Clan: Former ThunderClan / Kittypet

Shadowheart was approached by Nightpool and Icestrike during a gathering. The two cats had heard of Shadowheart's grief with Waspstar and offered to help Shadowheart get revenge on Waspstar for murdering Duskwhisker if Shadowheart helped them kill Lynxstar. Shadowheart agreed, but Nightpool lost. Shadowheart left the Clans after killing Waspstar with his friend Ketsueki and became a kittypet with him.

Notes:

• Shadowheart only joined Nightpool and Icestrike to get revenge on Waspstar, which he believed was the right thing to do so he will go to StarClan.
• Shadowheart is glad he left the Clans as the territories have too many memories that hurt him too much.
• Shadowheart doesn't really care that Nightpool died, and he doesn't really care where Icestrike went.

Lynxstar was the leader of ShadowClan before Nightpool killed him. He ended up in StarClan after Nightpool, Icestrike, and Shadowheart killed him five times and drained him of his last lives.

Notes:

• Lynxstar forgives Nightpool for his crime.
• Lynxstar understands the need and hunger for power, but he chose to take the honest route unlike Nightpool.
• Lynxstar, however, believes Nightpool should go to the Dark Forest for no reason other than breaking the Warrior Code.

Ketsueki was introduced to Nightpool by Shadowheart. Nightpool allowed him to join their heist on Lynxstar, promising Ketsueki that he could choose any of the cats that did not want to follow him as prey. Ketsueki allowed Shadowheart to join him and his family when Nightpool failed to take over ShadowClan.

Notes:

• Ketsueki didn't really care about Nightpool's power, he only helped Nightpool in order to make his family strong.
• Ketsueki had a crush on Shadowheart since they became friends.
• Ketsueki didn't know Nightpool too well.
