It's safe to say that Hesperos has not had a lot of interaction with people his own age - or even people in general. He knows hardly anything about the outside world, and spends a lot of time pretending that he does. He tries to act confident and careless and casual, but sometimes it just comes across as either arrogance or awkwardnes, both extremes that make him embarrassed later on. Hesperos is naturally rather shy and will usually not be the first to initiate the conversation, but will attempt to engage once actually talking - unless he can't think of anything to say, in which case he will just flounder around helplessly like a fish out of water.
