A young wayward soldier and a complete gay disaster. Bellow grew up in a traditional Rens family which felt like a suffocating pit with no color to it. The military is a respectable place for a man to go, which is why Bellow’s family was happy to hear that she would join it instead of causing a fuss and reject tradition like they feared she would. Bellow has always been sensitive to social injustices so the military wasn’t exactly something she liked the idea of being a part of, but for the time being it provided her training, resources, and a ticket to elsewhere. When stationed in (but off duty), the outskirts of Juncuda, Bellow set out to do some recon of her own; see what this place of revolution was all about. When she caught sight of a wanted rebel fighter, Bellow took her chance. Meeting Diot was like fate, as rugged as she was and as intimidating as her reputation, Bellow knew instantly that this woman had a kind heart and kindred spirit. Diot became her mentor, teaching her not just how to apply her training in the real world but also in all the ins and outs of what was going on with this civil mutiny. When it came time for Bellow to cut ties and get away from Rens– militia and all– Diot was right there even without being asked. And when Diot made steps to give the new city-state a real name for itself, Bellow did just the same.
