Skills/Abilities: Levitation but only when others aren't looking? Actually Kini is a pretty quick and nimble little thing and can get into a lot of places, but they like to keep others on their toes.
They can float or catch a bit of wind in their "head fluff" it blooms out more with a strong breeze kind of like a parachute.
Job: Quit their old job at the lab, the other scientists were cramping their style.

Other: Markings either are painted on or change on their own. They're rarely in the same spot every day but repeats happen.
Personality: Due to some odd habits and quirks they are almost written off as the weird one by others. Little does anyone know that Kini's family is next level when it comes to science and technology. Maybe the overexposure drove them mad or they're just thinking at a higher level. Either way Kini tries to display themselves how they want others to see them to be more approachable.
Likes: Their science themed lunch set, all modeled after common lab measurement tools just be sure not to mix the fake beakers with the real one. Puzzles, food combinations, introducing friends to new things as they're a bit of a teacher at heart.
Dislikes: Being ignored, losing their temper, hates they can be a bit of a perfectionist at times.

History: While they don't admit it Kini is always seeking validation in their work. They come off as humble but they know the worth of their work and loves to have it acknowledged to feel like they've accomplished something. Their biggest project was actually done before by their father, who playfully stated they built a time machine as a boy just for fun. He was exaggerating a little but Kini took the challenge many years ago. In some ways they might have accomplished the task but it once again turned into a case of fiddling a little too much. When they were finally satisfied the machine went unused and Kini almost forgot about it until their mother instructed them to move it out of the garage to the backyard since it was taking up too much space. For some time after that it was a second storage room until the friend's old hang out was closed and they needed a new place to chill after work. Guess who's time shack got a new use?
Longer story short Kini's fit for overperfection actually changed their altered their time machine to explore other dimensions, crash landing them into a new and strange place.
Other: Kini's "time machine" was split down the middle during the crash but they managed to keep it together with some super tape. Over time her friends transformed it more into a house by adding on to it while they try to get it fixed.
