About
Eegal is the last of his kind. His parents died when he was around 10 years old, incredibly young for a dragon. He has little in the way of friends and struggled to get a decent upbringing. Ever since his mother was elminated in the Dragon Civil War, Eegal has been afraid to cross paths with others and wanders the lands of Eire with no place to call home. He misses his mother more than he can describe, and he can't work out how to let it go, resorting to staying a child forever until he can work out how to move on.
Despite this, Eegal adopts a cheerful and approachable persona, attempting to make a bond with anyone who he thinks might call him a friend. His methods are unorthodox and reflect his mis-shapen childhood, but you may still be able to find him loveable.
He seeks to do good in the world, but knows little of what being "good" actually means, this often leads him astray, and he can find himself in serious situations having to make decisions he doesnt have the capacity to make. This, of course, leads to issues he cannot account or make up for. He doesn't want to be "evil", but can't help being "not good."

- Naturally, Eegal would have a pale skintone soft-transition underbelly.
- Soul Dragons are the only species on Eire to have a natural Soulflame vent (The Lantern)
- Soul Dragons can come in the colours red, yellow and blue. It's just that Eegal is red.
- As Eegal's body is not one of an adult Soul Dragon, he is missing several horns he would grow later.
Personality
Eegal adopts a childish persona most of the time, which leads him to pull pranks, try for jokes, and toy with others. However, he is actually very sly and smart, and constantly seeks to intefere with serious situations. He uses his experience to outpower/outsmart others for what he expects will be the greater good-- although this is typically not the case. On top of this, his persona he shrouds himself with can lead him to quickly throw tantrums and over-react to small details, which makes him incredibly prone to being reckless in his decision making.
Likes
Attention
Being the centre of attention is reassuring for Eegal, without it he feels underappreciated. He will constantly go out of his way to make people pay attention to him, whether that be from making a fuss or putting on a performance.
Pranks
Eegal will jump at the chance to prank or tease someone, they're like little games he can enjoy on his own.
Spying
Eegal is unable to let people keep secrets, even if it involves heavy spying. Being left out of the loop is impossibly diofficult for him.
recieving physical affection
Despite complaining he doesn't, he is very happy to recieve any form of positive interaction, and almost indescribibly happy to be cared for. It reminds him of his mother and home.
Dislikes
New People
Despite trying to be friendly and approachable, he despises having to approach new people. He doesn't show it, of course, but he finds it exhausting.
Humans
Out of all the new people he meets, he dislikes humans the most. He blames them for the eventual killing of his mother and his entire race as they were historically the reason the Dragon Civil War began.
Waiting
Patience is a virtue Eegal does not have. Whether it be waiting for someone or somthing, or to get to a destination, Eegal cannot wait.
Letting go
A dragon's grudge is said to be stronger than any other being's in Eire. Is he wrong? Does someone have to leave? He got told off one time like 3 years ago and he really should just move on? He doesn't care. He's upset.

SOUL FORM
In moments of impossibly strong emotional influence, Eegal's DPE (Dream Potential Energy) can build up so much that his soulflames bursts forth from natural magical vents in his body. These flames burn hotter than any natural fire ever could, and burn away at his own scales, revealing his purple skin underneath. These flames embody his very emotion, and emit Reality-Changing DPE particles (the Xs) that reflects those feelings, skewing Reality to project Eegal's emotions. On contact with another being, these flames will spread to their soul, overwhelming their natural emotion and causing them to fall into a state similar to Eegal in this form. Essentially this is when the soul burns with more DPE than it can handle, causing it to burnout quicker than normal. This burnout affect can reduce an entity's lifespan anywhere from only a few minutes to instant death, this also goes for Eegal himself while in this state.
This state is merely an Eiren Soul Dragon's final trump card, and is an entirely natural mechanism that cannot be willingly controlled. While it is extremely powerful, it is also extremely unstable and dangerous. If could be compared more easily to self-destructing than actually being a final power boost.
NON-CANON ALTS/OUTFITS
HUMANOID FORM
Eegal, perhaps in another world, would sometimes take a humanoid form. Here he takes on many Tyglyton elements, like blue hair and darker skin. He also manages to maintain a lot of his draconic elements, however.

- Eegal's favourite game is "Fire-Dodgeball".
- His favourite food is cookies.
- Eegal would probably chase a stick and return it if you threw it.
- Eegal's namesake, eagle, is taken from the ties of eagles to walking a different path, typically that of solitude and loneliness, as well as a pursuit of power.
- Eegal shows up in many stories and legends in the Eire canon. This is partially because of how long he has been alive, and how many people he has met.
- His chestplates arent natural and are instead taken from another type of dragon, the Ficelec.
- While soul dragon's scales take the form of Red, Yellow, or Blue, their skin underneath varies from Magenta to Purple in colour. This plays into an element of Eiren Colour Magic, where Red Yellow and Blue are "True" colours, and the Purpleish hues are "Untrue". This reflects the destructive nature of the Soul Dragon's Soul Form as this is the only time their skin underneath is visible.
- When Eegal takes the form of a creature with hair (humans, cats, etc.) Eegal's hair is actually blue, like his soul.

Myke
Eegal saved Myke's soul from the bring of apocalypse, but soon after that, he became quick friends with the human boy. Despite the fast Eegal had been putting on a nice act for Myke, he somehow couldn't help but find himself charmed by his incompetently friendly demeanor.
Ethosliton
Eegal encounteeds Etho for the first time when stopping a large threat in a small town, dubbing her "Glowy Lady". He then proceeded to travel with Etho and her friend Myke across the land in search for a way to stop an oncoming evil.
Faulken
Eegal can think of no one else he held more dear than his mother, who was lost to the Ildrean Dragon Civil War when he was around 10 years old. She used to raise him so caringly, and in Eegal's eyes she was always saint.
