Joey is a very grumpy and serious business man, he's not known at all for a upbeat or positive attitude, if anything he always sounds and looks like he's ready to snap or on edge. Despite his addiction to coffee, he's always extremely tired as well, he never seems to be to happy no matter what, hasn't been seen smiling either. He's also a little hateful, he hates his neighbors, hates his boss, his co-workers, hates the town people, he just hates everything besides books, coffee and his boyfriend Ryann, Joey is always on his phone whenever he can to talk to Ryann or hangs out with him in his apartment right after work, either it be about his or Ryanns day, or of course, books. Joey is easily angered, extreme hot-head even, he despises being picked on and even though he's as strong as a toothpick, he will swing if pushed over the edge, or bite, whatever crosses his mind first.

It's no secret Joey had a hard life, depressed even, especially with a bunch of heart breaks and break ups, between friends and past lovers, and family issues besides his mother, who he desperately wants to see again but as of lately, she and him live on opposite sides of the world, so only calls and skype calls can do for him and her. Though Joey isn't just straight up a dick, he's got a few things that make his day a little brighter, fireworks are Joey's favorite thing to watch from his apartment complex and thankfully every week does fireworks go off by the nearby stadium, but of course he likes watching them with a coffee in hand and his boyfriends hand in the other.
