Shortly after his birth, his parents named him Rowan, meaning "red," after a trick of the light made his eyes appear red (due to his albinism). In reality though, his eyes are bright blue.
Terrible eyesight, though not entirely blind. The glasses help improve basic sight and help him get around and perform easy tasks just fine, but more complex things like reading and whatnot are impossible (though he can read braille).
Very sensitive to the sun and bright lights, so he wears sunglasses, long elbow-length gloves, and his hood when he needs to be out during the day or when walking around the carnival at full operation. Mostly though, he usually just stays inside until the sun starts to set, or after Shut-Down.
Timid and easy to scare; a constant target of (mostly playful) teasing and pranks.
Loves stories and books, and visits (insert name here whenever I make this character) and his vast collection of books quite often. (Since they don't own many books with braille, he is mostly read to instead of reading them himself).
