🧵Hime Gushiken

Hime is the Ultimate Seamstress and one of the two protagonists of this Fanganronpa!

She owns the trendy fashion brand Ichigo, named after her beloved pet canary. 

Her favorite things in the world (besides Ichigo and her craft) are strawberries, thus her design - ironically, not taste-wise (she thinks they're disgusting).

Hime comes from an influential family that hasn't exactly treated her the way that she's always wanted to be; mainly taken care of by nannies and the like all her life, Hime’s turned cold and distant to anyone trying to get close to her -

She's convinced that she's worthless due to the lack of love from her family, and those other relationships are useless, too. 

A complete and utter introvert with a lack of trust for anyone but her canary, she doesn't have any friends before coming to Hope's Peak and doesn't have any during, but she isn't lonely. She prefers it that way.

Hime likes to be left alone and becomes very irritated whenever anyone tries to interact with her. But even so, despite her negative attitude and irritation, when she needs to, and it's clear her classmates need assistance, she does anything and everything in her power to help and make herself more than helpful -

Whether sewing up ripped clothes or a wound or participating in tricky trials and crime scenes.

Besides Tatsu, Hime’s always the second in the group to jump into action, even if she doesn’t particularly like the victim or anyone she happens to be working with at the time.

QUICK FACTS!

- Though her 'thing' is all things strawberries, she ironically thinks strawberries in food (and the berry in general) is DISGUSTING. - Her favorite fruit is lime!

- She eats limes like apples (with the skin OFF - yes, I do have to clarify this)

- She and Byakuya Togami's families are super close - though she doesn't interact with them much and dislikes them quite a bit.

- She frequented the town Celestia Ludenberg grew up in, where the two bumped into each other. She and Celestia aren't exactly friends, but they get along just fine (some could call them good frenemies) due to their respective fashion lines and personalities. 

- At first, Hime isn’t friends with a single member of her class and tries her absolute hardest to stay away from them -

 She makes sure that they leave her alone due to her unpleasant and borderline rude attitude - but in the end, she manages to become close with Tatsu, Manami, and Itsuki. 

- Her standoffish and irritable behavior only really backfires, though, as typically with each trial, she’s a prime suspect almost no matter what, due to her classmates not only disliking her but being suspicious of her - like when classmates Katsu and Dai are the victims of murder, she’s almost immediately pinned as the suspect. 

- Despite their initial quarrels (and yes, they are both plentiful and FREQUENT), after Tatsu is the only one that defends her in one of the trials, they become her best friends, and she even knits them a cool scarf!

- As the game progresses, Hime and Manami become closer as the trials (and overall killing school life) push them together, and they become friends - especially as Hime does her best to assist Mimi when she falls and tears her dress or backs her up during trials. 

- Often clashes with Hana and calls out her odd behavior regarding Tatsu, noticing how her behavior changes when she hangs out with them. 

- When Itsuki and Manami defend Hime in a trial when she’s incapacitated due to a head injury and cannot protect herself, this leads her to become better friends with Manami and close friends with Itsuki.
