He lives on Cier and believes he is better than everyone else because of the rarity of Dainties on that planet.

Dr. Tar struggles to make friends since he is task oriented and professional

He has a sense of humor, but it is dry and sarcastic

He is untrustworthy and is more than willing to lie and cheat to get his way
