Kharis is tall and muscular. He has half long red-brown hair, a pale skin and green eyes. He prefers practical clothes, adorned with magical amulets and talismans. He always has a weapon on him.

Kharis is expressive, vigilant and slightly paranoid. He is determined, strong-willed and still has the dicipline of a soldier.

Sells hides to a merchant.

Kharis can hunt, gather, fish and lay traps. He was also a trained warrior, skilled in the quarterstaff, spear, axe, knives, archery and hand combat. He has leadership and teaching abilities.

He is friendly with most people in town, but is not close to any of them, except for Runa, He used to train her, years ago. He gets visits from an old friend sometimes.

Kharis was born and raised in Ingvythallduria. His father and older sister are royal guards and his mother also worked in the palace. When he was twenty years old, Kharis wanted to see more of the world. His travels took him to Mag Illur, where he fell in love. Wanting to settle down with his partner, he became a soldier in the Mag Illurian army and worked himself up to become an officer. He helped protect the country against the darkelves. At some point the royals got into an argument about how to handle the war. Kharis kept supporting the king, but it was the kings brother who ended up, winning. It was not until after the war that he found out his partner had supported the prince.The country was safe, but Kharis' life as he had known it was over. He left to live in another country. He just wanted to live the rest of his life in peace. The only one who now knows he used to be more than a hunter is Runa. She found out, and he trained her so she could rescue her brother.
