ჯan was born to a single mother, and was decidedly named Camazotz. She was the product of sexual violation, and her father's identity is unknown.

Xanthippe's mother struggled with alcohol and drugs, an escape from laying eyes upon Xan and feeling nothing but pain. Xan quickly began to feel like a burden. Her mother lashed out at her on several occasions.

On Febuary 4th, Xanthippe's 10th birthday, her mother committed suicide.

After spending the ages of 10-18 alone, wandering, stealing, trespassing and living on the move, Xan settled into a hunting shack in the woods. She owned several hunting rifles, as well as assorted blades. Being the species she is, she can eat her food raw, so hunted animals in the surrounding forest. She often went hungry. She stole various hair dye & makeup products, and had her desired top surgery and adjustments... But then fled without paying. She would shower in a luke-warm waterfall a few yards from her hunting shack.
