Profile

Humans are a disgrace to Kemora.

Non-humans had overthrown numerous nations and were far superior compared to the humans that bow down at their feet. They took advantage of them, using them as slaves, food, and whatever horrible things they desire. As centuries pass by, the human population diminishes rapidly, with violence being the main culprit. They were also faced with diseases that their bodies could not handle unlike the non-humans and with their abodes burned down to ashes they did not have a shelter to accommodate them. Young Victorio gaped upon the carved drawings of his kind being hanged from their necks, impaled, stoned, and blatantly tormented. His wide eyes darted to the horror on their faces, then to the small huts eaten away by the sharp and jagged drawn flames. His bottom lip quivered as he thought about the casualties his kind had been through and the challenges he will face when he is old enough to enter the outside world.

Species: Catfolk (Human in Disguise)

Gender: Male

Origin: Pitch Noir Mask Shop, Brumesdale

𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆

Quite yet fierce, Victorio is like a wild cat. He does not trust easily but once he warms up to one, one will be treated with loyalty and respect. He does not believe in inequality, and he does not believe in the act of discourtesy. He's much more mature than his friends, but sometimes he can't help himself and play around too. He often speaks in a low and soft voice and thinks twice before taking action. He's very solemn and quiet much like the one by whom he was raised. Victorio was taught to treat others with respect no matter who the person may be. He is very agile and quick thanks to his physical training and has a wide knowledge of various subjects. His actions are sometimes seen as quite eccentric and he often prefers to work by himself. He does not become flustered as easily nor does he become annoyed, but putting on the mask shall change his behavior: should he become much more violent and his mind focuses only on the battle. This may be a side effect caused by the mask.

𝗣𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Victorio is of average build and has a pale complexity due to not being under the sun often. He's quite thin and his hair is short and blonde. He has very thin eyebrows and bears a scar that runs from his forehead to his right upper eyelid. His eyes are a dark gray with red slit pupils. He wears a dark blue-gray hood, shoulder garment, arm warmers, and baggy pants that reach down to his knees. His hood has what seems to be cat ears to deceive others so he takes the appearance of a catfolk. He also wears a necklace that is hidden due to its rarity. It is gold and shaped like a cat, and it allows him to become a catfolk for a certain amount of time. The ears have three holes in them bordered with gold. The front of the hood has three eyes on top of each other and they all come in different shapes. Under the hood reveals fake teeth making it seem like a monstrous cat. Victorio wears a sleeveless gray shirt with a greenish-gray garment that reveals only half of the shirt. He has bandages wrapped around his waist, arms, and shins. There are buttons attached to his arm warmers and red rhombus shapes for his knee pads. He also wears a rope around his waist with a small ornament of gold and red ribbons. A torn blue-gray cloth can be seen under the rope. Victorio has no shoes and instead has gray bandages wrapped around his feet. He also carries around a giant brown travel sack on his back with a belt around his left shoulder.

When Victorio was an infant he was sent over to a blue Oni who would nurture and teach the young boy about the world that he did not belong to. His parents were part of a small group of humans that were now captured and massacred. They had hidden in an underground cave for years since the invasion of the last human village. Victorio had never seen his biological parents. The Oni who took Victorio in is known as the Masketeer. The Masketeer was the maker of masks, thus looking after his own store known as the Pitch Noir Mask Shop that can be found in Brumesdale. The most powerful masks he owns are power-wielding masks that only the most trustworthy travelers can put their hands on. Decorated with paint made from Kemora's scarce flora, these masks hold the ability to protect its wearer and are the most desired item in all of Kemora. Young Victorio had never attended a public school nor has he ever engaged with other children. He simply must not be seen. The Masketeer was the only person he truly knew. He taught Victorio the knowledge he must acquire, generally about the world he didn't wasn't meant for. Victorio was taught numerous things, primarily about the world he did not belong to. He went through intense physical training and worked many days and nights on various subjects, such as potion-making, painting, and whatnot. He often too would look over the past of the humans, back when they were dominated by the non-humans. They would often bring young Victorio fear, but as he grew older he yearned to explore the world more and more. When Victorio was 18, the Masketeer was captured for keeping a human, thus running away from Brumesdale with a powerful mask. Using the mask with telekinesis powers, the Masketeer instructed Victorio to meet special people to protect him. He and his friends would trek around the map of Kemora, to discover the different places and lives, and cultures and turn the world to become a better place.
