Milo

meet milo! he's a rather introverted boy who sometimes, who is a little too sweet for his own good. he spends his time with his boyfriend iris, and the two of them are inseparable. kind of like a burger with fries. they've known each other for as long as they can remember, since they were childhood friends. they actually didn't go to the same school together, or even the same neighborhood for that matter. iris and his family took a road trip out of town one day to visit distant family members, and on their way they wanted to stop and pick up some treats for them when they arrived. they went to a little bakery that was newly established, and that's when iris met milo, who was too young (and tiny) to work there, so he did his best to help out his older brother at the shop. since that day, despite not being close, the relationship between iris and milo grew stronger whenever they crossed paths. while milo really enjoyed baking at the time, as he grew older, he wanted to do more with what he was capable of. baking sweets and treats was very fun for him, but soon he would be living on his own, and i don't know about you, but i don't think a few pastries would count as a meal, so he decided to take up cooking many years later! his talents and management carried over well from baking to cooking. he works at a fine little restaurant in a quiet town and honestly, he really loves it there. cooking, and even baking as he did previously, always sort of helped him with his self-esteem. a lot of the time, he'd always feel sort of useless, seeing how hard-working his parents and brother were, and just wanted to be able to pull his weight, without really knowing how. his family was always there for him whenever he felt down, but the feeling never truly escaped. that is, until he met iris, hehe.
